Wolf Laurel:
Just north of the Asheville area, you'll find a popular ski area with Fifty-four acres of runs offer something for both beginning skiers and experts.
Independently owned and located within the Wolf Laurel Resort, this popular ski area has 100-percent snowmaking capabilities, regardless of precipitation.
The longest of the 14 runs is up to one mile long, with both a double and quad chairlift. The entire slope is lighted for night skiing, with top elevations
at 4,650 feet and the base at 3,950 feet for a vertical drop of 700 feet.
